Human Tissue Options for Reconstruction

Reconstructive surgery is shaped by what remains, what must be restored and how the selected material will interact with the surrounding anatomy.

Evologics provides dermal, placental and soft-tissue allografts for clinician-directed wound coverage, soft-tissue support and selected reconstructive applications.

Tissue platforms with distinct roles

EvoDerm Acellular Dermal Matrix

EvoDerm is a human dermis-derived allograft for soft-tissue applications.

It may be evaluated in selected breast, abdominal-wall and complex soft-tissue reconstruction procedures according to the product’s controlled labeling, available dimensions and required handling characteristics.

The matrix should be selected according to the defect, fixation plan, tissue quality and institutional protocol rather than treated as interchangeable with synthetic mesh or another ADM.

EvoPatch

EvoPatch provides a continuous, double-layer human amniotic membrane wound covering.

Its thin, conformable sheet format may be considered for surgeon-selected wound and surgical sites requiring focused or broad tissue coverage.

A-MATRX Micrograft

A-MATRX provides the same general tissue category in a different geometry: dry, precision-cut amniotic membrane micrografts.

The tissue can be distributed across irregular surfaces, curved anatomy, narrow spaces and focused areas according to the reconstructive plan.

Fascia Lata and Pericardium

Fascia lata and human pericardial allografts provide additional tissue forms for selected soft-tissue repair, patching or reconstruction where their product-specific characteristics are appropriate.

Reconstructive procedural environments

The portfolio may be discussed in connection with:

  • Breast reconstruction
  • Abdominal-wall reconstruction
  • Complex wound coverage
  • Chest-wall reconstruction
  • Soft-tissue defect reconstruction
  • Surgical oncology reconstruction
  • Revision procedures
  • Selected osseous reconstruction
