Biologics Built for Robotic Workflows

Robotic surgery extends precision into narrow spaces and difficult anatomy. The biologic product still has to reach the field, maintain usable handling characteristics and conform to the intended site.

Evologics offers human tissue configurations designed around these practical realities, including broad membrane coverage and focused micrograft placement.

Portfolio pathways

Two tissue geometries. One deliberate workflow.

Robotic procedures can move from open surfaces to confined tissue planes within the same operation. EvoPatch and A-MATRX provide two distinct amniotic membrane configurations for clinician-directed selection.

EvoPatch

EvoPatch is a double-layer, chorion-free amniotic membrane allograft supplied as a continuous sheet.

Its thin, conformable and omni-directional construction supports placement in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgical environments. Either surface may face the site, eliminating the need to determine tissue orientation during placement.

EvoPatch can be applied dry or hydrated with sterile saline according to clinician preference and the current Instructions for Use.

A-MATRX Micrograft

A-MATRX provides dry, precision-cut amniotic membrane micrografts for targeted placement.

Its discrete format may be useful where the operative site is curved, narrow or irregular, or where the surgeon wants to distribute tissue across a focused area rather than position a continuous sheet.

A-MATRX is ready to use without pre-hydration or reconstitution.

Specialty-dependent biologics

EvoDerm and other soft-tissue products may also be relevant to robotic cases involving abdominal-wall, pelvic or reconstructive work. Selection depends on the underlying specialty, anatomy and controlled product labeling.

Robotic procedural environments

Evologics products may be discussed across robotic workflows involving:

  • Colorectal and gastrointestinal surgery
  • General surgery
  • Bariatric surgery
  • Gynecologic surgery
  • Urologic surgery
  • Thoracic surgery
  • Surgical oncology
  • Pelvic reconstruction

Specialty information and use

Procedure examples are provided for general informational and navigation purposes. They do not establish a product indication, treatment recommendation or expected clinical outcome.

Product selection, preparation, placement and documentation remain the responsibility of the qualified healthcare professional and facility. Use must be consistent with the current Instructions for Use, product labeling, institutional policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

Where website language differs from a controlled product document, the current controlled document governs.
